Legal Use of Copyrighted Material: A Fair(y) Use Tale (NOT a Disney Movie)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bK8AZSYtPU
This short video explains the legalities of copyright use rather well, though it might be a challenge to follow the video's train of thought for some viewers. Like a ransom note that consists of words taped together from different sources, this video explains what can and cannot be borrowed from copyrighted material using seconds-long clips of words and phrases borrowed (legally, of course) from Disney movies. The effect is a bit jittery, but cleverly edited. The use of Disney material also points a finger at the Disney corporation's tendency to intimidate those who would borrow their ideas legally.
